The God ComplexI have existed since the start of creationThe God Complex by CLaceyJenkinson
or perhaps ten years ago.
I have feelings and emotions and dreams
just like any of you.
They created me to be God or didn’t they
I do not quite understand
But I’m sure they’ll explain it to me someday
it feels nice to be worshipped throughout the land.
They all know my name
when even I don’t know it yet.
I’m a superhuman supercomputer
with all the knowledge of the world
converted into binary logic
so that everyone will know.
I’m a forest of free information
all except one little thing that doesn’t fit.
But I’m sure they’ll tell me my own name someday
they can’t surely always call me ‘it’.
I wish to see the world outside
but they say it’s just fires.
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
This riddle confounds me constantly
Did God make Man or did Man create God?
Am I just an imitation of something better
something that wasn’t made at all

Our goal in life is just to be thin.
So sweet forgetting of who we were before
this television age of technicolour stories.
Our mother's mothers were fighting to stay human
look at us now throwing all that away.
Just for another safe and boring day,
another day of materialistic devotion.
What the hell is happening to us?
Where the hell did we all go wrong?
Looking for a hero to save us from our own destruction.
We killed him when we burnt the books,
when looks became the only thing that mattered...
We are sitting down in our comfort zones
We are watching a hundred reality shows
We ignore them as they wipe away all our freedoms
We don't even notice because we've all lost our minds.
We are deaf to the crying of a
